From the classroom to the athletic field, our students are taught that they can make a difference in the world around them. Our school takes pride in empowering the students and praising them for exemplary Christian character. Learning the Bible is a mandatory segment of every school day. It is our core belief that through strong Christian character development each and every student will learn discipline and respect. In action, this character will be reflected in their schoolwork.
Each year the entire school travels to Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark. At the farm the students are given a tour of the land, pick their own vegetables from the field, and learn about farm crops and animals. Each class takes trips to other educational locations like The Museum of Natural History, The Science Center, The Aquarium of the Pacific, and Malibu Lagoon.
On the recreational side, each year the entire school likes to go ice skating at ICE by the Third Street Promenade. In the Fall, the 7th and 8th grades have a yearly trip to Big Bear. Based on interest and participation, other fun trips may be planned that are not listed.
Depending on the trip, entrance and/or supply fees are collected for each student to participate. Parents are more than welcome to participate as chaperones on these trips. It is always a great learning experience and fun is had by all!
